The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Walter Salles’ biopic “Motorcycle Diaries” (original title: “Diarios de Motocicleta”), based on the written memoir of young Ernesto Guevara (later to become the famous “Che”), was awarded a BAFTA Award for Gustavo Santaolalla’s score, while Jorge Drexler’s song “Al otro lado del rio” won an Oscar for “Best Original Song” in 2005. This release is the first time this multi-award winning soundtrack has been released on vinyl.
