A killer – one of those tunes you’d swear you heard back in the day. There’s a bursting power to “Comencemos” that almost feels like “Jungle Boogie”-era Kool & The Gang – a way of having the rhythms blast out past simple configurations – driving on the horns, guitar, and other instrumentation to wicked new heights as the tune explodes! “Tokuta” is a great original by the group – almost Afro Funk, but tighter too – with horns blasting over percussion that never let’s up – and a wicked guitar riff that burns all the way through!
